Venue Information

The 2024 SIGCSE Technical Symposium will be held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Floor plans for the convention center can be found below. The Technical symposium will occupy Exhibit Hall E, most of the meeting rooms on Level 1, and the ballrooms on Level 2.

A few things to know about the Oregon Convention Center:

• The venue can only be accessed via the Martin Luther King Jr. entrance which is near the middle of the building. The Holladay entrance which is closest to the light rail station will not be open during the symposium.
• The OCC is a cashless venue. Purchases can be paid for with a variety of credit or debit cards. There are “reverse ATMs” on site where one can exchange cash for a card that can be used to make purchases for those that don’t have a credit or debit card (or prefer not to use them).
• The “Level 1 Connector” (marked on the Level 1 map below) allows one to move from D, E, F and G meeting rooms to the B and C meeting rooms without changing levels.
• Yellow accent walls are generally used in areas with washrooms or elevators making them easier to locate at a distance.
