Dr. Gago-Masague joined the Computer Science Department at UC Irvine in 2018 and has worked as a research associate at the California Institute for Telecommunication and Information Technology at UC Irvine since 2012, where he is the Director of the ETAD (Engaging Technology and Application Design) Lab. Dr. Gago-Masague conducts cross-disciplinary research in assistive and educational technologies mentoring students in research areas such as product and systems engineering, software engineering, data visualization, computer games, and health informatics. Dr. Gago-Masague is passionate about new tools and strategies for teaching, mentoring, and creating innovative and inclusive active learning environments.
