Tushar Jois is an assistant professor at the City College of the City University of New York. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, while studying under his advisor Avi Rubin. He has also held visiting scholar appointments at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Dartmouth College. Tushar’s research interests are broadly in computer security, practical cryptographic systems, and censorship resistance. He focuses on the design and implementation of secure systems, with the overarching goal of ensuring users’ privacy in their everyday lives.
